Story Time

It may be National Story Telling week but children at Westchester House Nursery School do not need a special week to sit down and read stories.

There are countless opportunities each day to handle books and share stories. Looking at words and letters encourages literacy development which is why it is an integral part of nursery life.

The Countdown to Christmas

Christmas Dinner

As part of the Christmas countdown our children enjoyed a traditional dinner at Westchester House nursery, tucking into turkey with all the trimmings.

Christmas is such an enchanting and wonderful time of year for children so an early Christmas dinner provided the perfect opportunity to have a delicious starter prior to all the fabulous festive activities still to come.

Christmas Crafts

Children at Westchester House Day Nursery have really enjoyed creating festive crafts and decorations for the big day.

All the nursery rooms pitched in and had a fabulous time creating snowflakes, Christmas cards and snowmen from a variety of different texture materials.

Christmas is an exciting time of year for children and their families & we hope the festive crafts our children make at nursery provide treasured keepsakes which can be used in years to come.
